HEBRIDEAN
There are many different artifact tartans from the Hebrides on record. Two are pictured here. The red one to the left dates from the mid-eighteenth century and is also called "Deeside MacGregor." The darker tartan to the right is an artifact tartan of uncertain date and comes from the Bute Collection.
