ROTHESAY

This tartan first appeared in the Sobieski-Stuart's Cromarty MS c. 1829.  The hunting version of this tartan (right), which reverses the red and green, first appears in The Tartans of the Clans and Septs of Scotland published in 1906 by W. & A. K. Johnston.
